Don't be fooled by an ad that has all the right numbers but no brand names listed with the system components, there is a difference. We clearly state the manufacturer of every component that is in our systems. We stock all the parts necessary to repair a system.

We never sell the so-called name brand "cookie cutter" systems. The IBMs, Packard Bells, ASTs, Compaqs, etc. are the least repairable, least compatible and most restrictive machines to upgrade. The large mail order companies practice their own brand of bait and switch. They build their highest end machines from name brand components to hold onto their rankings in the magazines but a tier down, (the machines that are actually going out the door) are built with one board, all components built into the motherboard. These are inferior throwaway appliances.

The cheapo mail order store is the biggest trap of all. They make you the proud owner of a machine with parts carefully selected from the FBI witness protection program. Try to guess who made any part of one of these systems and where to go for things like video or sound drivers. Is this what you want the functionality of your business based on?

Most of the so-called "on-site warranties" do not cover the Cape. When you need service they remember the "you're too far from a major city" clause. Your next step is to kiss your equipment good-bye and live without it while the UPS guys play soccer with it for three weeks. Did you know that most factory service departments would not try to retain your data? They simply format your hard drive and reinstall only the software that was originally shipped on your system. Due to their inflexible fine print we are often paid to install parts on computers still under warranty to mail order vendors.
